Ethan Brown, Founder and CEO of a startup, Beyond Meat, that aspires to produce fake meat with patented technology and flora-products. The chief agenda that lies behind all the deserved hype around ‘fake meat,’ is to abolish animal slaughter.

Why not real meat?

1)Real meat demands enormous efforts and resources.

“Raising livestock is an incredibly inefficient way of producing protein. It takes a lot of land, a lot of energy, and a lot of water just to generate one pound of meat from an animal. About 30% of the animal is meat we eat; the rest is not useful.”

2)Human health, Natural Resources, Animal Welfare and Climate Changes are the prominent issues that can be tackled by the advent of ‘fake meat.’

3)Animal slaughter is the cause of rising intolerance with the fauna lovers.

How did the work proceed?
Meat is nothing but the combination of fats, amino acids, carbohydrates, trace minerals and water. – is what Ethan figured out at the fundamental pace of his research.
Taking the required inputs from plants, Ethan combined them to match the texture, taste and nutrition of meat!

Beyond Meat is headquartered in El Segundo while it’s chief plant is located in Missouri.

Bill Gates and twitter founders fell for this eccentric product. They also called it to be the future of the food.

Sharing his excitement, he made a blog post describing his experience with the flora based meat from Beyond Meat.

This is what he said,

Like most people, I don’t think I can be easily fooled. But that’s just what happened when I was asked to taste a chicken taco and tell whether the meat inside was real or fake.

The meat certainly had the look and the smell of chicken. I took a bite and it had the taste and texture of real chicken, too. But I was surprised to learn that there wasn’t an ounce of real chicken it. The ‘meat’ was made entirely of plants. And yet, I couldn’t tell the difference.

Looking at all the appreciation surrounding it’s taste and brilliance of production, I cannot wait to try this out! I’m sure neither can any of you foodies wait to taste this maverick!
